It is important to do yoga every day, especially certain stretching asanas that can relieve the tension from various parts of the body and boost the health of your joints and muscles. Many people complain that they are not able to find the time to do yoga amid a crazy hectic schedule. But the thing about yoga is, it does not require you to invest a lot of time. Just 15-20 minutes every day is good for your overall well-being. You can find a comfortable corner of your house and get a yoga mat to get started. And if you simply need a push, this Varun Dhawan video will do just that.
The 'Bhediya' star, who became a father recently to a baby girl, took to Instagram to share a glimpse of his stretching routine, and how he depends on yoga to feel his best. The actor was seen working out with his trainer. Take a look here.

First, he was flat on the floor -- lying on his stomach. Varun's trainer held his hands behind him and pulled his upper body up. Notice how his fingers are interlocked and his legs are stretched out and firmly on the floor. The actor managed to look straight, his chest expanded and his spine arched.
After holding this pose for a bit, they moved on to another stretching exercise wherein Varun's trainer folded his elbows behind him, while he continued to be on the floor, lying on his stomach. This time, too, the 37-year-old managed to pull his upper body up, with his trainer firmly holding his shoulders to release the tension.
After staying in this difficult position for a bit, the actor relaxed his body by lying down on his back and bringing his knees close to his chest to prevent cramping and reduce the risk of injuries.
In the accompanying caption, Varun wrote: "Yoga -- stretch to be the best. Yes, that [has] been the most beneficial healing element in my life. [I have] had very stiff shoulders and chest muscles for a long time. These asanas have really helped open me up and helped my digestion and sleep. It [has] taken me a long time to reach here under the super[vision] of my teacher."
The actor has been inspiring his fans and followers through many of his social media posts, wherein he is seen working out. When it comes to yoga, stretching is an intrinsic part of it. It is almost like a warm-up to prevent injuries and to, as mentioned earlier, do away with the stress knots and tension pockets in the body. Stretching is all the more important for people who work long hours and do not get to exercise at all. They may suffer from back, neck and shoulder pain, and these exercises can offer relief.
