Vrikshasana (Tree Pose)

This asana enhances concentration and stability.

  1. Stand in samasthithi
  2. Lift your right foot and place it on your left thigh.
  3. Hold hands in pranam mudra and lift it upwards
  4. Focus at one point and gaze forward.
  5. Hold for 10 secs.

Adhomukhasvanasana (Downward Facing Dog)

This asana energizes the mind and reduces depression.

  1. Sit with your palms and knees down.
  2. Curl your toes and then straighten your knees.
  3. Try to touch your heels on the mat.
  4. Hold for 10 secs.

Setubandh sarvangasana ( Bridge Pose)

  2. Fold your knees hip -width apart
  3. Lift your pelvis upwards, your knee and ankle should be aligned.

  1. Sit comfortably in Sukhasana
  2. Keep your spine straight and shoulders relaxed.
  3. Close the right nostril with the right thumb
  4. Inhale slowly and deeply through left nostril
  5. Close the left and exhale gently and completely through right nostril
  6. Inhale slowly through right nostril, close the right nostril and exhale through left nostril.
  7. Practice for 5mins daily.

Shant Bhastrika

This practice is ideal for reducing stress, and anger. It focuses on cooling the body and mind.

  1. Sit comfortably in Sukhasana, with a straight spine.
  2. Keep your hands in Gyan mudra
  3. Inhale slowly and deeply and exhale gently through the nose.
  4. Practice for 5-10 rounds initially, gradually increase the time.

Sheetali Pranayama (Cooling Breath breathing technique)

This pranayama relieves stress and tension, cools your body, supports detoxification.

  1. Sit in any comfortable position such as sukhasana
  2. Straighten your back and close your eyes
  3. Place your palms on your knees facing uo ( in prapti mudra)
  4. Extend your tongue out and fold its sides to form a tube-like shape
  5. Inhale deeply through your rolled tongue
  6. Take your tongue back inside your mouth and close it.
  7. Exhale through your nostrils
  8. Repeat the above 10-15 times

Hakini Mudra
