Yoga asana for low energy, stress: The change of season can bring about many health problems, and among them is a sudden drop in energy levels. For office goers -- with a bulk of work and deadlines at their disposal -- this can be a challenge. Energy may dwindle because of various reasons, the primary ones being lack of physical activities and little exposure to sunlight. To address this problem, one needs to be mindful of many things related to their lifestyle. From following a healthy diet, to getting a good amount of sleep, they must prioritise certain activities and make them a part of their everyday routine. At the same time, yoga can come in handy, in order to boost energy levels and lift spirits. Try to get yourself out in the sun for a few minutes daily, preferably in the morning to increase the levels of energy in the body.

Taking to Instagram, Anshuka Parwani, a celebrity yoga and holistic wellness expert, put the spotlight on a specific mudra, which she promised can regulate energy levels in the body if it is practised every single day. This energy-boosting mudra is the Prana Mudra. Take a look here.

How To Perform This Mudra

Demonstrating this easy mudra, the yoga expert stated that it can be performed by doing the following things:

  • Sit comfortably with your back straight.
  • Bring your palms together.
  • Touch the tips of your little finger and ring finger, and bring them closer to the thumb, as demonstrated in the video.
  • Make sure the other fingers are straight.
  • Make sure to take deep breaths.
  • Practise this mudra daily for 15 minutes.
