Prepare a bowl of hot water

Fill a large bowl with hot water, making sure it is not boiling. The ideal temperature is between 100°F and 110°F.

Add eucalyptus oil

Add a few drops of eucalyptus oil to the hot water. It can help to loosen mucus and ease congestion.

Cover your head with a towel

Drape a towel over your head, creating a tent-like structure. This will help to trap the steam and direct it towards your face and nostrils.

Inhale the steam

Sit comfortably and lean over the bowl, inhaling the steam through your nose and mouth. Take slow, deep breaths, and try to relax.

Breathe in for 5-10 minutes

Continue inhaling the steam for 5-10 minutes, or until the water has cooled down. You can take breaks if needed, but try to maintain a steady flow of steam.
