World's first needle-free vaccine : Drug Controller General of India, on Friday has granted emergency approval to Gujrat based Zydus Cadila's needle-free three shot vaccine ' ZyCov-D'. It will be launched in India in the month of September. ZyCov-D is the world's first ever DNA based vaccine launched, which is going to be a historic milestone and has been declared safe for children. It will primarily be used for adolescents in the 12-18 age group. Watch this video and get more details on the vaccine.
