We have lived with the COVID-19 virus and the devastations that it has caused globally for almost 2 years now. While India successfully controlled the first wave of the pandemic, the second wave-exposed the Indian healthcare system as being dangerously fragile. It made the limited healthcare infrastructure around us crumble and we stared at unimaginable scenes of pain and suffering. A shortage of oxygen, hospital beds, medicines, nurses and doctors . India was brought to it's knees praying for the suffering to end. And now, we are facing the possibility of a third wave, which may be here as early as August-September.

The third session of the Health Summit 2021 focuses on the role of alternative therapies or integrative medicine to combat the virus. Renowned personalities from the field of Homeopathy and Ayurveda, Dr Kalyan Banerji, Founder of Dr Kalyan Bannerji Clinic and Dr Mahesh Vyas, Dean, AIIA Ayurveda, have joined us for this session. In the fourth session, we seek to give an insight into the Indian Healthcare infrastructure, the developments that have taken place in this sector, how it can improved further, public-private collaboration in this field and also the rural-urban divide.
