World Thrombosis Day : Thrombosis is a formation of blood clot known as thrombus within the blood vessels which blocks the blood from flowing normally through the circulatory system. It's symptoms include chest pain, swelling in one leg, itchiness and skin changes. If ignored, the situation may worsen and may lead to heart attack. Every year we witness 13th October as World Thrombosis Day which is celebrated to raise awareness about the causes, symptoms and signs of thrombosis and also to reduce death and disability caused by it.
