Are those flabby legs preventing you from wearing tights? The good news is that this 10-minute workout will ensure that you rock the tights with confidence. The workout combines plyometrics with strength training, which will help burn your calories and tone your lower body at the same time. These exercises will primarily engage your butt, thighs and hamstrings. The moves will up your heart rate and boost your metabolism as you sweat it through the workout. These are low-impact exercises that are readily acceptable at most fitness levels.
You can do this workout routine alone, or add this to any cardio or strength training routine. You can also perform multiple rounds of this workout for a longer sweat session. The video does not include a warm-up session so ensure that you do a five-minute warm-up session before you jump into this one. Also, follow the workout with a cool-down stretch. Do give yourself one or two days break if your muscles feel sore. Also, make sure that you are wearing the right shoes that fit properly and provide proper support to your ankles to prevent injuries. Ensure that you choose the right workout clothes.
So grab a pair of dumbbells weighing 10 pounds, hit play and get ready to tone your lower body. It is important that you complement your workout session with a diet that is lean, clean and green.
