There’s no denying that Shilpa Shetty is one of the fittest actresses in Bollywood. She swears by yoga and also attributes her post-pregnancy weight loss to it. She even came up with a set of yoga videos called Shilpa’s Yoga where she demonstrates certain yoga asanas. In this video, Shilpa shows the steps of vakrasana or the twisting pose that is an excellent pose to manage diabetes.
The twisting posture also helps tone and stretch the abdomen and thighs. It also helps in losing fat around your waist. The asana is also excellent for beating sciatica (lower back) pain, curing asthma and preventing constipation.
