Were you just on a guilt trip after last weekend, when you binged on some delicious doughnuts? Well, it’s time you drop off that guilt and treat yourself to mouthwatering home-made doughnuts, just the way you’d like them. Here is a quick video on how to get started with making some freshly baked vegan ‘ring-desserts.’ You could ditch the oil and bake these doughnuts instead. A key ingredient – nutmeg shouldn’t be skipped. And a healthy way to preparing the batter is by using soy milk, as for the batter to fluff up add in some vinegar with baking soda.
Also, in case you don’t have the doughnut tray, use the muffin pan or shape them in any other way, you prefer. After you’ve put them in to bake for a good 10-12 minutes, you will see the doughnuts turn slightly golden in texture, pull them out of the oven just then. They are ready for you to glaze them up, decorate them with some fancy toppings.
