Healthy mocktail recipe: Chilled green tea and honey drink

The chilled green tea and honey drink can be a very energising and soothing beverage. Green tea is a powerful slimming tool, besides, the combination of green tea and honey can make the antioxidants more readily available to your body. The antioxidant compounds protect body cells from free radical damage caused by the sun.

Ingredients:

  • 1 g green tea powder
  • 2 tsp honey

Method:

  • Place green tea powder in a glass. Add a little lukewarm water and stir till it dissolves.
  • Top it with chilled water. Add 2 tsps honey and stir.
  • Place some ice cubes in two stemmed glasses and pour the green tea into them. Serve immediately.
