Everybody these days are conscious about eating healthy and eating right. Whether you are eating out or eating at home, Executive sous-chef Harpreet Sahai, Hyatt Regency shares helpful and healthy eating tips for everyone.
  • The chef recommends that you should go for barbeque grills especially when you are eating out. You can enjoy it with few spices and some salt. Also, when you order for bread, go for the gluten-free ones. Loading up on refined carbohydrates isn't the best thing to do. So go for rotis made of jowar and bajra. A dash of olive oil can always add flavour to all your meals.
  • When it comes to portion control chef, Harpreet suggests eating a bowl of watermelon half an hour before your meal. It will not only make you feel full, but it is an excellent way to cleanse your liver and enhance your digestive system.
  • Moving to cooking oils, olive oil as we all know can be the healthiest option. Add extra virgin olive oil to your salads and dips but don't use it for cooking as it has a very low smoke point. You can cook with olive pomace oil. Pomace olive oil has a strong olive flavour, but once you start cooking with it, you will love the taste. However, ensure that you do not overheat the oil. As soon as you add the oil to the pan, immediately add the other ingredients like ginger and garlic to it. Here are tips to choose cooking oil for a healthy heart.
  • For the dressings in salads, the yogurt-based dressing can be the best option. You can also go for garlic and avocado dressings. Also, try these healthy salad dressing recipes for weight loss.
