Meet Yogi Prahlad Jani who claims to have survived without food or water for the past 70 years. He says that a divine intervention of three Hindu goddesses at age 7 gave him the power to survive without food or water all these years and has been on a fast ever since. His claims garnered attention from doctors and scientists all over the world. He was kept under observation for 10 days in a multi specialty hospital in Gujarat. He was under camera surveillance 24x7 and the results obtained were shocking. He did not eat, drink, and pass urine or stool all the while under observation. Medical tests ranging from a complete blood count (CBC), Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR), renal function tests, endocrine tests, liver function tests, a whole body CT scan to an ultrasound twice in a day could not prove how this man survives without food or water. The doctors found that there was urine formation in his bladder which reduced in quantity over time but the Yogi claims that the urine is reabsorbed by the body. The doctors found no scientific explanation for this phenomenon. The doctors at the hospital were also baffled with Yogi Prahlad Jani's claims being true. Here is a snippet from the documentary- 'In the beginning there was light'
