World Health Day: How important is temperature while cooking and storing food?

Cooking and storing foods in right temperatures is essential to kill food-borne bacteria such as Salmonella and E.coli. The only way to be sure to cook something at the right temperature is by using a probe thermometer. Here are 13 simple hacks to make your meals healthier. Most bacteria do not grow in very high or cold temperatures, but bacteria can grow between 5 degree celsius and 57 degree Celsius. It's always best to not keep potentially hazardous foods for more than two hours in room temperature. Also, when you are cooking foods, make sure you cook them quickly and in small batches.
