Wondering what does prediabetes mean? Well, if your fasting blood sugar levels are just below 100 mg/dL consistently for few months then you are at an increased risk of diabetes. According to Dr Rajiv Kovil, a person is considered to be pre-diabetic if the blood sugar levels are higher than normal but not high enough to be called diabetes (fasting blood sugar between 100 and 125 mg/dL).
