We all have heard about the dangers of smoking. But the fact that it can kill you, cause cancer and even make your bones brittle doesn’t seem to affect the average smoker. While, statistically the number of men who smoke is much higher than women, the habit affects both the sexes equally. In women it has innumerable ill effects including leading to premature ageing, early menopause, brittle bones, heart disease and much more. Read about why smoking is bad for women. But in the case of men it causes a very striking ill effect — sterility. In a country where we place such a premium on being able to have a child, sterility is quite a horror to deal with.
