Jim Carrey is among the most popular Hollywood actors known for his roles in Bruce Almighty, Liar Liar, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Truman Show, among others. In this video, he shares the wisdom that he found after reading Eckhart Tolle's The New Earth. 'Eckhart's philosophy is basically about the idea that the present moment is all we have, it's all there is and all there will be and most of us live trapped and lost in the movement of thought. Sometimes, I have spent two hours of my day thinking about one person I resent and going through orations and if he ever says this, I'll say that. All those things. Now when I get caught up with something like that, I find myself becoming conscious and suddenly going, 'Oh! Wait. I am here. I am not with that person right now. I am creating things that don't even exist. It's useless. It's time badly spent.'' Check out some instructions by Osho, Eckhart Tolle and The Dalai Lama on how to meditate.
