Cardiac Arrest In Women: Young women have greater rates of cardiovascular and all-cause hospital readmission than young males. As risk factors for heart disease in young women continue to grow, this highlights the importance of continued efforts to strengthen preventative techniques. Their findings were published in Elsevier`s Canadian Journal of Cardiology. Several prior studies have found that women have worse outcomes compared to men after experiencing a heart attack.
