The concept of getting inked is very thrilling and most of us want to experiment with it. Although the fad of getting tattoos is increasing day by day, we don't know why they hurt. A tattoo machine has several components like the motor, the grip and needles. The motor of course runs the machine, the grip is where the tattoo artist holds the machine and needles which are used to draw on the skin. The pain is attributed to the needles injecting the ink in your skin. Also, the number of needles used depends upon the design and thickness of your tattoo. Ideally 5 needles are used simultaneously to draw a line whereas seven needles are used to fill the colour. The ink is held between the needles by capillary action and is injected under the skin when the needle strikes the skin. The fine needles make tiny holes on the surface of your and the ink then gets lodged under the holes. Take a look at these 16 of the best celeb tattoos which you shouldn't miss!
