The Swiss ball or exercise ball is made with a soft elastic which is 35 to 85 centimeters (14 to 34 inches) in diameter and filled with air. The air pressure inside the ball is adjusted with a valve stem, either by deflating or filling it with air. It is mostly used in physical therapy, athletic training, yoga, and exercises. Stability ball, sports ball, physioball, Pilates ball are some of its alternative names. The ball is effective at targeting core muscles, which provides posture and stability to the body.
