Sagging skin commonly occurs after the age of 35 as the collagen, elastin and muscle tone tends to decrease around the facial area, taking away the firmness from the skin. This causes the skin to sag and loosen comparatively. Due to the decrease in collagen the skin is prone to  more damage and takes longer to repair. Hydrating the skin helps reduce chances of sagging skin, applying sun protection, exfoliating your skin surface, increasing intake of vitamin C, avoiding smoking and consuming alcohol and getting enough sleep are needed for healthy skin and to keep away from skin sagging.
