Plank

The plank is a very popular exercise to tone your abs. You can do it in the comfort of your home. There are other variations of planks too like side planks and reverse planks. Even though it may look extremely simple for people who haven’t done it, it is a bit more difficult to execute for a long time. Besides toning your abs, this exercise can also help improve your sex life.

How to do this exercise?

Lie down on all fours. Lift your body up using your arms. Make sure your legs, back and head are in a straight line. Now, instead of your palms, you should use your forearms for supporting your bodyweight. Hold this position for 30 seconds and relax. 

How many times should I do it?

The number of times you do it depends on how much belly fat you want to burn, but you should try and do 3 sessions of 30 seconds each. 

Besides plank, you could also try doing abdominal crunches to tone your abs. The great thing about this workout is that it requires minimal movement and looks cooler than most exercises. Also, you can do it anywhere you want – at home, at office or at a park. It’ll help build core strength, and if you find difficulty doing push-ups then you should begin with doing this exercise.
