Zika virus cases rise to 72 in Jaipur

On Friday the figures were issued after a review meeting chaired by Rajasthan Health department's Additional Chief Secretary, Medical and Health, Veenu Gupta.
The state's Health Department has said that twenty-nine people from Rajasthan have tested positive for Zika virus. This is the biggest Zika outbreak in the history of India.
Through the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) surveillance system the present outbreak in Rajasthan's capital Jaipur was detected. And all suspected cases in the defined area and mosquito samples are being tested.
Air pollution is a major cause of life threatening diseases such as stroke, heart disease, lung cancer and chronic and acute respiratory syndromes such as asthma.
