Intestinal worms are also known as stomach worms. These are generally found in the wall of the intestine. There are various kinds of worms present in the intestine like tapeworms, threadworms, hookworms, pinworms or roundworms. These worms occur usually among children during rainy season, but adults too are likely to get infected. Some conditions like eating stale food, improper hand washing, walking bare foot in mud, eating undercooked fleshy food and poor sanitation are the major causes for building up worms in abdomen. Stomach pain, diarrhea, weight loss, bad breath, vomiting, increased appetite and under eye circles are the few common symptoms which appear upon infection with intestinal worms. Proper medication and hygiene helps to keep the problem at bay.
