Hawaii's Mauna Loa, the world's largest active volcano, began erupting on 27 of November for the first time since 1984, Hawaii's Mauna Loa, has erupted for the first time in 40 years. Mauna Loa is one of five volcanoes that form the Island of Hawaii in the U.S. state of Hawaii in the Pacific Ocean. The lava flow is mostly contained within the summit, but residents have been placed on alert and were earlier warned about the risk of falling ash.
