Cholecystitis

Cholecystitis is the condition of the gall bladder inflammation which occurs due to over accumulation of bile due to its impaired flow from gall bladder to small intestine. Such impairment of bile flow occurs owing to the formation of gallstones. Additionally, physical trauma and diseases like diabetes and HIV are also responsible for the development of such a disorder. Cholecystitis is generally manifested as severe pain in upper right abdomen (post meal), fever, tenderness, nausea and vomiting. In some cases, medicine is often recommended to overcome the crisis but in severe condition, surgical removal of gall bladder is always suggested.
