A three-year-old boy from Chhattisgarh has been diagnosed with HMPV infection and health officials reported that he has now been moved to the ICU and is kept in isolation.
With rising number of positive dengue cases in Chattisgarh accompanied by 7 deaths due to dengue, National Centre for Disease Control has taken steps to tackle the situation, particularly in Bhilai.
The government has already set up 182 centres since April 2015. More than 1.3 lakh women affected by violence have been assisted at these centres till date in the 33 states and Union Territories, said the statement.
'I along with some other children used to look out for people going for open defecation and upon spotting such people we used to blow a whistle and tell that person not to do so. Violators would be fined Rs.500,' Arti, who is part of Team Swachh - an initiative of UNICEF and a non-governmental organisation Jan Kalyan Sansthan.
