Cancer drugs refer to drugs used in chemotherapy to treat cancer cells. It is preferred to radiation therapy and surgery, the other two cancer treatment methods when the cancerous cells are located in several parts of the body. Sometimes along with cancerous cells, they end up attacking other cells. This results in various side-effects like reduced immunity, hair fall, fatigue, nausea and vomiting. Chemotherapy or cancer drugs are recommended when cancerous cells are present in various parts of the body. Radiation targets the cancerous cells directly and prevents them from replicating while surgery directly removes the cancerous tumour.
