For some, Valentine s Day is a day to celebrate love with chocolates, teddy bears and roses, and for some others, it s an overhyped marketing gimmick invented to make people splurge on materialistic things. It doesn t matter which side of the fence you are on, the one thing we can all agree on is that expressing appreciation, respect and love for that special someone in your life, at least once in a while, is necessary to make your bond even stronger. But before you set out to buy lavish gifts, here s what we think you must give instead, if you truly care for your partner:
2) Sign up for couple s dance, yoga or workout sessions: When you two sign up for the same class, you ll find it difficult to skip it. You can motivate each other, push each other harder, set an example for and inspire each other in joint gym sessions. Sweating out together will elevate your comfort with each other to another level. Here are signs your relationship has reached peak comfort levels. Dancing together will not only keep you fit and make you more graceful, it will also bring you closer. Sexy Latin dances like Samba or Cha Cha Cha are perfect for this purpose!
3) Enroll for a healthy food subscription box: There are many healthy food subscription services online that deliver your favourite healthy foods every month. Subscribe to whatever you like -- granola bars, healthy cookies, organic produce, keto meals etc. Help her/him ditch the samosa and chai afternoon snack habit by getting a granola bar delivered to you or opt for a healthy lunch tiffin service so your spouse doesn t have to rely on oily, unhealthy canteen food at their office.
4) Schedule health checkups: How many of us do annual health checkups? When was the last time you visited a dentist? Your partner may have a tendency to delay appointments with the doctor or consult with them only after their health gets worse, but, that could be dangerous in the long run. Regular checkups, whether you are a man or a woman, young or old, are necessary. If you think this is not a romantic gift , ask yourself this: is there anything more important than your partner s health and wellbeing? Let us know what you think.
