The most exciting thing about pregnancy is that you get to shop once again and this time no one will stop you from splurging. Your clothes are not fitting you and you need to buy the comfy ones to look good and feel great. There are a number of designs in the market to choose from to dress yourself and your bump. However, the right time to shop for maternity wear is crucial else you might end up with sizes that might not fit you during the last months of your pregnancy. So don’t be in a hurry to invest in maternity wear right at the start. The right time to invest in maternity wear is your last or third trimester. This is the time when your body has changed the maximum. Also, this is how your body will be postpartum, at least for a while. After pregnancy, it takes around three to six months for your body to get back to the pre-pregnancy shape (no, it not just six weeks). Your maternity clothes will be all that you will be wearing during this phase. So choose wisely. Here are 13 things you need to do during your third trimester.

Precisely at the eight months of your pregnancy your breasts and belly will have increased to its optimum preparing you for the lactating phase and making the fetus adjust itself in the womb during the last few weeks, simultaneously. So your size right now is ideal for maternity shopping and buy clothes that will fit you for the remaining weeks of your pregnancy and postpartum.

Even if you invest in maternity denim and dresses before your eighth month it should not be much of a problem. Most of the maternity denim comes with a supporting belt that is stretchable and so as the belly grows it supports the growing belly too. So even if you invest in your maternity denim during your fifth month it will last you until the end of your pregnancy and a few months after too. Even the maternity dresses that you invest in after sixth or seventh month can help to last the remaining months of your pregnancy. Here are tips to pick up the right maternity denim.

The only thing you should keep in mind is investing in maternity bras too early. Buy them only during the last trimester. At this point, the size of your breasts become stable and remains the same till about eight weeks post delivery. A correctly fitted bra will not only make you feel amazing but will also provide the body with that much-needed support. Here are five tips to keep in mind while choosing a maternity bra.
