Strong opioid patches like the fentanyl patch. Neuropathic medications that primarily include drugs like gabapentin
They may be helpful for mild to moderate pain, although some treatments, like opioids, usually are reserved for more severe pain. Ibuprofen, naproxen, and other medications are NSAIDs.
These procedures can be very useful in relieving the pain and can be performed by an experienced pain management physician, usually under x-ray or ultrasound guidance.
Opioids must be cautiously recommended because of their potency, adverse effects, and risk for addiction.

Acetaminophen and NSAIDs, however, they are effective alternatives for those who are not fit to take opioids or who have less severe pain.
Regular use of these medications could make them a very effective pain reliever.
