Memory Loss That Disrupts Daily Life
Sometimes forgetfulness, such as the inability to find keys or forget my name, can be experienced by anyone. But, in Alzheimer's, memory deterioration is permanent and interferes with normal day-to-day life. An individual can lose the information that has been learnt recently, major dates or events, and be very dependent on the notes, reminders, or relatives. Such memory abnormalities contrast with normal ageing, as they are recurrent and traumatic such that the person should not be allowed to operate all alone.
