According to Batra, problems like constipation, bloating and acidity can be taken care of when one is particular about their meal timings. In a video shared on Instagram, the nutritionist says you can make a basic change to your routine by fixing your dinner hours to take care of the digestive system. An early dinner supports a healthy gut by promoting the growth of beneficial gut bacteria and reducing the risk of digestive disturbances like dysbiosis, which occurs when food remains in the digestive tract for extended periods.

Regulated bowel movements

Consuming dinner earlier in the evening can help with the regulation of bowel movements by allowing sufficient time for the food to move through the digestive system. It promotes regularity, which is essential for overall digestive health.

Reduced risk of acid reflux
