Have you ever heard of the term 'Blue Zones?' This refers to regions in the world that are best for living a healthy life. These zones are meant to have the least amount of pollution and toxins and is expected to be the best supportive environment to live the longest. It is also known to have lower rates of chronic diseases like cancer and dementia. Residents in blue zones do not rely on structured workouts instead, they walk, garden, carry and move around freely. Activity is built into their daily lives as most of them live in a rural set-up. They are exposed to plenty of natural light which supports sleep and Vitamin D production. Lastly, their lives are fueled with low-intensity and high frequency movement and very few sedentary days.

Eating mindfully reduces risk of overeating.
