What Is A Heart Attack

A Heart Attack is a serious human health condition, also known as myocardial infarction. It is known to occur when there is a disruption in the flow of blood to a part of the heart muscle, which deprives it of oxygen. This blockage is often caused by a blood clot that gets formed in one of the coronary arteries, which act as the vessels that supply blood to the heart. If the blockage isn't cleared quickly, the heart muscle tissue that gets affected can begin to die.
