A behavioural sleep specialist at Henry Ford Health, Anthony Reffi, Ph.D. wrote in a publication, “Our body's natural circadian rhythm, the 24-hour internal clock that helps regulate our biological processes, sends signals to the brain during the day to keep us alert, awake and sharp. Dr. Reffi says, "Unfortunately, a lot of people are chronically dehydrated simply because they don't drink enough water to fuel their daily activities.”

Experts recommend that an adult must get at least 7 to 9 hours sleep at night to fill energised during the daytime. Dr. Reffi explains, “The amount of sleep you need is highly individual, and it changes throughout your lifespan.”
