It can get difficult to tell if a guy is trying to flirt with you or not, especially if he is shy or a just a very smooth talker. It can get quite embarrassing if you assume that someone is flirting with you only to realise that this is just how they talk to everyone! These are the six signs that he is definitely flirting with you.
He maintains eye contact: He might be talking about the weather or making some other small talk with you but he continues to maintain steady eye contact with you. He also leans in while you're talking and even if you both are in a big group, he is more interested in what you want to say.
He looks for an excuse to touch you: While you're hanging out, he will put his arm behind you and his feet will be pointed towards you. Every time you say something even vaguely amusing, he will touch your arms, shoulders or back.
He’s trying to get your number: If he recently met you and you have any mutual friends, he will ask them for your number. Or else, he will be more subtle and approach you directly. He might use excuses like wanting to send you a cool video or article just so he can start messaging you on WhatsApp.
He is smiling a lot: Not everyone is very generous with how often they smile at others. So if he is constantly smiling and grinning when both of you hangout, this is a definite sign that he is interested!
He points out things you have in common: When he gets the chance to talk to you, he will try hard to find things both of you have in common. For example, if he finds out you like dogs or the same band as him, he will point it out and look for other things to bond with you over.
