Ovulation is the period when a mature egg is released from the ovary and becomes available for fertilization around two weeks after periods begin. Lower abdominal pain- You can experince this pain either on the right or the left side depending on where the ovulation is happening.

Rise in basal body temperature- Measure your temperature in the morning before eating or drinking anything. There tends to be a marginal increase - by about 0.5 to 0.8 degree Fahrenheit when you are ovulating.

Mild breast tenderness - You are likely to feel a little pain and tenderness in the breasts for a couple of days or so.
