Going through a pregnancy can be exhausting both physically and mentally. It can leave you feeling extremely tired, out of energy and lethargic, which has become a quite common occurrence these days among pregnant women. There are numerous changes taking place in your body both internally and physically which generally makes women feel exhausted. Although according to many doctors, morning sickness is the most famous sign of pregnancy, but fatigue is probably the most common one. Especially, during the first trimester, you will feel more tired as you may not see any significant changes externally but internally there is a lot of work being done by your body making you feel tired. It works overtime to create placenta, an important organ that provides nutrients and oxygen to the baby and helps remove waste products from your body. Lack-of-sleep

Take power naps: If you want to reduce your stress levels, start taking 15 to 20 minutes of power naps and see the difference on your own. In case, you are employed, you can put your head down and rest for some time. Power naps refreshes you and gives you extra energy to do your task more sufficiently.

Household-chores-that-can-be-dangerous-during-pregnancy

Do more to do less: You should adjust your schedule in a way that the toughest task of the day can be done early in the morning and leave the less hectic ones for later in the afternoon. Most of the pregnant women are peppier in the morning but find themselves wilting by the afternoon. Coffee-on-bed

Limit caffeine intake: Rather than having a cup of coffee or tea, try drinking chamomile or decaffeinated herbal tea and make sure your body stays hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Too much of caffeine during the day can cause trouble with your sleep, resulting in you feeling tired most of the day.
