Every child wishes for a pet of his own, and why not! The bond between a child and her pet is extremely beautiful. It is one of the purest forms of friendship. Ask any pet owner, animals love babies! That's not all, a study says that kids who are exposed to pets in the first year of their lives are less susceptible to allergic rhinitis and asthma later in life! If you decide to get birds as pets, please do not resort to clipping their wings. Most birds like parrots and pigeons can be domesticated. You will be amazed at how much your child will love having her own bird.
