Growing up, that one hour of cartoon shows was the highlight of my day. If you have grown up in the 90's, your staple was Duck tales, Talespin and the likes. Now, as a parent, I want my child to watch the shows that I spent my childhood with!
Ducktales, woohoo! Oh, how much i love this show. The adventures, the drama, the comedy -- what's not to love about this show.
The crazy Baloo, the eccentric madam Mahalingam and the magnanimous Shere Khan, Talespin is one helluva ride.
Every child LOVES The Jungle Book. I want to show my child the one that came on Doordarshan. My 2 year old already sings 'Jungle jungle baat chali hai...'
Alladin is for slightly older kids, say 6-7 year olds, because of the romance between Alladin and princess Jasmine. I remember waiting every evening to watch it, and the moment the title song came, 'Arabian nights...' I would be captivated.
'He Man power of the universe' -- how cool it would be for my child to love this show. I can visualise myself discussing the 'Castle Grayskull' with my daughter when she is a little older!
