Vaccine Schedule

The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggest the following schedule for the vaccine:

0, 6–12-month Schedule

In a two-dose series, the second dose should be administered 6–12 months after the first (0, 6–12-month schedule).

12 Weeks

If the double dosage is given at a shorter interval, the third dose should be given at least five months after the first dose and at least 12 weeks after the second.

0, 1–2, 6-month Schedule

In a three-dose series, the second dose should be administered 1-2 months after the first, and the final dose should be administered six months after the first (0, 1–2, 6-month schedule).
