Avoid working out in the heat, under the sun. It can cause excessive sweating, dehydration or worse, heat stroke. If you have to step out and stay outdoors for a while, look for places where there is shade. Also, avoid sitting in a car that has been exposed to the hot sun; try to park it in the shade.

Summer months also lead to mosquito breeding, which can cause serious mosquito-borne diseases like dengue, malaria, etc. As such, protect yourself and your loved ones by keeping windows and doors closed, applying mosquito repellent, avoiding going to mosquito-breeding areas and ensuring the breeding does not happen at home where water is collected.
