Take 3 tbsp yogurt, 1/2 tsp cumin seeds and 2 green chillies.

Take 1/2 tsp black gram, 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds, 1 dry red chilli halved and 2 stalks of curry leaves.

Add this paste to the cooked ash gourd and bring the mixture to the boil for 20 minutes.
