Full plank pose: A very basic yoga pose -- practice this properly and consistently for strong arms, wrists, spine, quads, abdomen and a toned core. The plank pose elongates the body and lengthens the neck. It also helps in determining a neutral body position.
Half plank pose: A modified form of the full plank pose, it provides an additional benefit of wrist strengthening. Both forms of the plank position help in building back strength and counteract the regular wear and weakening of the body. Developing a strong back and abs is easy now!
Paschimottanasana or Seated forward bend: It is one of the key yoga poses that can be performed seated. The paschimottanasana stretches the lower back, hamstrings and hips. it also massages and tones the shoulders, abdominal and pelvic organs, helping you stay in shape.
