Too busy at the office or going out for a vacation? There is no need to take a break from your yoga. Even when you are busy you can effectively stretch your body with these weight loss yoga poses recommended by yoga expert Shameem Akthar.

Janu Sirsasana

Janu sirsasana or head-to-knee pose: Place your heels on a chair as shown in the picture alongside. Inhale and as you exhale bend your head towards the right knee. Try to hold your toes. If that is difficult, touch your feet wherever you can. Continue breathing evenly and slowly release. Repeat it with the other leg.

Janu Naman

Janu naman or knee press: Sit on a chair and press your feet into the ground. Inhale and place your hands on the inner sides of the knees. Then exhale. Inhaling, press both knees outwards and away from each other with your hands. Simultaneously, push your legs inwards, to create a resistance between the hands and legs. Padasana Or Leg Pose

Padasana or leg pose: Stand in front of a chair, with enough distance to place the right heel on it. Keep your leg as straight as possible. Inhale and flex your toes towards your body. Then extend it away from the body with an exhalation.Do this a few times and repeat with the other leg.
