Aamir Khan played a gymnast in Dhoom 3 which required him to get a certain physique and flexibility in his body in order to perform the circus stunts with ease. The training regimen designed for Aamir included a mix of HIIT (high intensity interval training) for cardio. The cardio intervals consisted of boxing and low and high impact aerobic exercise. The trainer also added resistance training and gymnastics exercise such as rolling V-Sits for toning his body and building core strength.

The kind of body that Farhan achieved to play Olympian Milkha Singh impressed even his harshest detractors. In order to do so, Farhan had a fixed training schedule. He did athletic training in the morning and strength training in the evening. He trained for 4 to 5 hours a day and followed a structured diet.

Hrithik began his training with Kris Gethin’s 12-week Body by Design plan. The results were immediate and dramatic. ‘I look at myself and I am amazed that something like this is possible. It was a twelve-week transformation, but we completed it in ten weeks. ‘I’m just amazed at the possibilities of the human body and how easy it was. There was no sacrifice. Everything just flowed. I was loving my meals. They were nutritious as well as tasty. I don’t think I can go back to ‘normal’ (if I can say ‘normal’) kinds of food again, where it’s just about taste and not about nutrition.’, Hrithik said about his fitness regime.  Also Read - 5 science-backed home remedies proven to help pass and prevent kidney stones naturally

Apart from the sizzling chemistry between the lead pair Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, the other thing that stood out in ‘Ramleela’ was Ranveer’s chiselled body. 'We trained on a two day on/one day off principle. The initial phase of Ranveer’s training involved the Y3T Principle developed by Neil ‘Yoda’ Hill (professional bodybuilding coach). This involved low volume reps in week 1, followed by moderate volume in week 2 and high volume reps in week 3. During the final three weeks of Ranveer’s training I used DTP (Dramatic Transformation Principle) to put the finishing touches on his physique. I also incorporated low intensity cardio into Ranveer’s regime – this was never more than 30-35 minutes a day depending on the exercise. Types of cardio used were swimming, fast walking, light jogging and occasionally the cross trainer.', said his fitness trainer Lloyd Stevens.
