Myth 2: You may believe that meditation is all about concentration, but the fact is concentration is a benefit of meditation. Meditation is an absolute relaxation of mind while concentration takes a lot of effort.

Meditation Is Sitting In Lotus Position

It is not necessary that you need to sit in lotus posture to meditate. It is more important that you are comfortable and steady while meditating. It is fine if you sit crossed legged or sit on a chair or sofa while meditating.

If you thought meditation was only for senior citizens you are wrong. Meditation has benefits for people of all age group. You can begin to meditate at the age of eight or nine.
