Tricolour Pulao

Ditch the layered pulao which is laced with unhealthy food colour. Follow any regular pulao recipe. Then add some chopped carrots to the pulao. Lasagna

Independence Day meal can't get any fancier! Get some wholewheat pasta sheets and boil them. Grate 2 carrots and season it with salt, pepper and half teaspoon of fresh cream. This will make your orange (first) layer. Next, crumble 1 cup cottage cheese and season it with salt, pepper and Italian herbs. Make pesto sauce (recipe mentioned below) and you are done! In a baking pan, lay a lasagna sheet, spoon some pesto sauce, then a layer of lasagna sheet, paneer, another lasagna sheet, carrot and end with a lasagna sheet. Brush a little ghee on top and bake on 180 degree Celsius for 30-35 minutes/ till it is done. (Recipe: Author)
