How to do: Lie down flat on your back on the floor. Bend your knees. For some variation, you could also keep your legs on an exercise ball or a bench. Put your arms around your chest or behind your head. Now raise your head till your shoulder blades are two to three inches off the ground. Make sure your lower back isn’t raised. Repeat for 15-20 times and try and do three sets. If you find it’s too easy, try doing it on a declined bench or by adding a weight to your chest.

How to do: This exercise needs you to hang from a chin-up bar with both hands holding it in a wide or medium grip. Your starting position will be the legs straight down rolled slightly backwards. After this you will need to raise your legs until the torso makes a 90-degree angle with the legs and return slowly to the starting position. As you master this, you can add a weight to your legs but do so only when you are comfortably doing the bodyweight exercise. Remember that this is an advanced exercise and should only be tried when you’ve mastered the lying leg raise.
